I have never exercised.
Most people coming have never exercised before; soon, they are amazed at what they can do, and have fun doing it.
Do I have to pay for a term or sign a contract?
No, you only pay when you come. We are currently using a card that rewards you with your tenth class free.
I don't understand technical terms.
I don't use them: for 'glutes', I say 'your bottom'; your 'core' is your 'tummy'.
Do I have to wear gym gear?
No. I do suggest you wear rubber soled, closed shoes instead of sandals, anything else is optional.
My balance is bad.
So was mine, I couldn't walk heel to toe at all. It just takes some practice.
I have trouble getting out of a chair.
One of the main things I teach you to do.
I have had a fall and some near misses.
Balance work and fall prevention is done every week.
As a doctor, can I be sure my patient is cared for properly?
I require each person to give a medical history and to name their current doctor. Regarding any areas that need clarification, I follow through with the doctor for further information. Whatever condition a client has, I do thorough research so that I can meet their specific needs and goals. On one to one there is a fitness assessment.
I am a very stressed person.
Included in our classes are breathing techniques and Tai Chi.
